In my work, I explore the fluid intersection of visual art and sound, where color and geometry create a kind of silent symphony. Drawing inspiration from music’s structure and emotional resonance, I see my compositions as visual melodies—rhythms, harmonies, and beats expressed in vibrant shapes and lines. Just as a single note may seem flat on its own, a color, by itself, is only part of the story. It’s the arrangement of colors, interacting together, that sets a visual rhythm into motion, much like how notes combine to create a song.

Statement

My approach is influenced by various artistic movements and genres that transcend traditional boundaries. Outsider and psychedelic art have profoundly shaped my perspective on color and form, inviting me to embrace bold, unrestrained use of color to shift perceptions and awaken altered states of consciousness in viewers. I am drawn to the raw, expressive nature of outsider art—its ability to communicate pure emotion without the filters of formal technique. Psychedelic influences infuse my work with a sense of movement, encouraging viewers to lose themselves in the flow of lines, shapes, and tones, experiencing art as an immersive journey.

Additionally, genre fiction, especially the world-building aspects of science fiction and fantasy, inspires my exploration of spatial perception. My geometric patterns often evoke alternate realities, where shape and color combine to create new, imagined spaces. These spaces exist beyond the immediate world, yet they invite viewers to project their own narratives and meanings onto them, much like one interprets the universe of a novel.

Ultimately, my work is about creating perceptual experiences—inviting viewers to engage not with symbolism or narrative, but with the raw, visceral power of color and form. Through this, I hope to elicit moments of introspection, contemplation, and even transcendence.
